In the event you haven't heard (in which case, pay attention!), Broken Social Scene has a new, as-yet untitled, album coming out on May 4. They will be doing 3 US release shows, and you can find dates here.
The Golden Filter announced a new NYC show on February 20. Nancy Whang, of LCD Soundsystem and The Juan MacLean supports. The gig takes place at Brooklyn Bowl and ticketing information can be found here.

I put the hatch at roughly two feet wide. Depending on how the interior is laid out, it looks like it would be sufficiently large to carry seven people on a short duration trip.
