Gorillaz - Plastic Beach (now streaming on NPR!)
Gorillaz, the brainchild of Blur frontman Damon Albarn and comic-book artist Jamie Hewlett, are set to release their 3rd studio album, Plastic Beach, on March 9. The virtual band's upcoming offering has easily been one of th emost hyped efforts of 2010, thanks to a generous dose of teasers and trailers from the English outfit.
Much of the diversity in the band's sound sound can be attributed to their constantly expanding group of collaborators. The original musical lineup — as heard on 2001's Gorillaz — blended the talents of Albarn and Dan "The Automator" Nakamura, as well as Kid Koala, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Cibo Matto's Miho Hatori and Tom Tom Club's Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz.
Plastic Beach continues this trend, with Albarn bringing in an impressive roster of musical contributors: Snoop Dogg, Bobby Womack, Lou Reed, Mos Def, Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys, Little Dragon, The Lebanese National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music, and many more.
Now, a week before the official album release, the blokes have dished out their album to NPR, for the esteemed channel to stream in it's entirety. Go and listen here!

Regularly googling yourself is so inefficient. You should set up a Google News Alert instead!!
This way, every day (or instantly if you prefer) you get an email notifying you whenever you name appears online.
Just google yourself using google news, then scroll down to the bottom, and click the link about google news alerts.
This technique also covers any time your name appears in a blog on line or in a web page. Sweet.

For another thing, we’ve changed the level of toast on our barrels. We’ve cut way back, from heavy toast and toasted heads (the ends of the wooden barrels) to a medium toast...
