Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions - Trouble (new video!)

There's probably no one modern voice that soothes quite like Hope Sandoval's does. From her days with Mazzy Star in the early 90s through  her current project with The Warm Inventions, Sandoval has the ability to leave you hanging on every word she sings. It's with this sense of eased emotions that she's won over critics with her recent album, Through the Devil Softly.

While album opener, Blanchard, acted as the lead single, it's the hauntingly desperado-tinged Trouble that gets the first official video. If you're in the mood to melt today, I highly suggest you spin this disc, spotted with intermissions of video watching.

Be sure to pay attention, because the elusively-coy Sandoval makes quite the trippy number of appearances in the new video, directed by Tony Moina and Spencer Bewley.

Watch now.

Thank you so much for this! I'd wondered what ever became of Ms. Sandoval, and Mazzy Star was my obsession in high school (Fade Into You is probably still my fav song of all time). Appreciate it!

Long time listener; first time caller. Just wanted to say I think you're doing an awesome job =) I especially love the recommendations for what's going on in Brooklyn. Keep up the good work!!!
