Rihanna - Rude Boy (Passporte Royale Remix)
I was sent this remix yesterday, and at first listen, I dismissed it as a bit of a mess. And then my shuffled iTunes playlist kept going back to it, almost as if to say "Um, c'mon...give it a chance...please?" So I went back this morning and listened in full again. Let's just say, I wouldn't be writing this post if I hated it, ya dig?
First thing you'll notice about Passporte Royale? There's 100% nothing to link to in terms of a MySpace, twitter or Facebook account. I searched, I really did...and came up empty, save for this cover of The Beatles' Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.
Thankfully, we're just gonna let this funky, gypsy, Balkan stomper speak for itself. It's radly wild ride.
