Natalia Kills - Mirrors (Frankmusik Obsidian Overkill Remix)

Here in Beastonia, we love getting slain by good tunes. So goes the case with Natalia Kills' Mirrors, and now the equally dark and daring remix from Frankmusik. Oh, this is murdering my mind in all the right ways.

Natalia frankmusik

Couple of pieces of info you should probably make yourselves familiar with...

The video for Mirrors will be unveiled on Thursday, and was co-directed by Ms. Kills herself (watch the preview here). She's recently wrapped up tours with Robyn and Kelis...what! Natalia's debut album, Perfectionist, will be out in March 2011 via Cherrytree/Interscope, and she will be featured on a Frankmusik track on the duder's forthcoming album.

Busy beast, that one, eh?

Win Tickets to See The Roots and John Legend on December 7!

Earlier this month, I dropped some hot info that I'm in cahoots with HP and Beats by Dr. Dre, and while I'm reaping a lot of the benefits of a sweet new system and headphones (yeah, shameless plug here again), I also mentioned that you lucky little beasts would be privy to get in on the action too. Here's the first round of radness, and yo, it's a good one.

The roots

HP is all about music these days, and duh, so am I. They recently hooked me up with an ENVY 14 Beats Edition to test out and I'm digging the machine like a boss! Not only is HP making music sound good again on a computer, thanks to Beats Audio, but photos, movies and social networking is a breeze with Windows Live Essentials. To learn more about HP PCs with Beats Audio, hit this link hard.

So that's the legal mumbo jumbocities... below is the stuff you need to know if you want a pair of tickets to this exclusive, invite-only concert. Color us excited!

Hercules and Love Affair - My House (new song!)

Vocals come from newcomer queen on the scene, Shaun Wright, and if your heart isn't hopping to this new house heater from Hercules and Love Affair, then I suggest cochlear implants to remedy your ailment.

T.I. (featuring Christina Aguilera) - Castle Walls

I don't care what you say, think or feel... I've already cried three super solid times to new track, Castle Walls, from T.I.'s upcoming album, No Mercy, which features my fellow Pittsburghian homegirl, Christina Aguilera, on the emotional tip (pun...ha!) during the chorus.

Florence and the Machine - Hurricane Drunk (The Horrors Remix)

You know how at the turn of this year, a couple of bloggers, including thineself, wept with wonder in regards to The Horrors' remix of Florence + the Machine's Hurricane Drunk? For posterity's sake: here. And while that was only the radio rip (oh, the, errr, horror!), it was enough to suffice. Forget that noise though, and replace your file with the official 320kbps version, which is neither new nor breaking, yet recently acquired and hitting every sensitive nerve spot right now. You are all welcome... to have an unending case of chills.

HP and Beats by Dr. Dre: Sheena Beaston Video Update

I don't need to write a lot here, because this video will basically tell you what I've been up to over the first two weeks of my experience with the HP Envy Beats Edition Laptop and Beats by Dre headphones. How cute am I? And by cute, I mean ridiculous.

White Town - Cut Out My Heart (new song!)

Yes White Town, as in "I could never be your woman..." but I will come back some 13+ years later with new material in preparation for a 2011 full length release. The one man musical act, Jyoti Mishra, hasn't quite found the success of Your Woman, which is oft-regarded as his one and only hit, but with a gank of material at the ready, he's aiming to be on the tips of tongues in the forthcoming year.

White town

Cut Out My Heart is a new track from the impending White Town album, which as much as we know right now, is that it's due out in early 2011. No title, track list, nothing yet.

But there is a video. So, there's that, and you can watch it below.

I'm enjoying this song. We'll see what's to come.

Cherry Ghost - Finally (CeCe Peniston Cover) [Time and Space Machine Re-Edit]

What a mouthful of a song title, and thankfully, it's quite the earful as well. Earlier this year, Cherry Ghost released their sophomore album, Beneath This Burning Shoreline, and now with new single We Sleep on Stones available, we flipped the disc, errr, well, there's a b-side. And it is fantastic.

Cherry ghost

The Bolton, England outfit tackles a classic cut with their cover of CeCe Peniston's Finally, and turn the tune from hopped up house to a brooding beaut. Time and Space Machine provide the official edit, and you can buy CG's new single with this fix here now...if you live in the UK.

This is a wower.

Flight Facilities - Crave You (Jad And The Ladyboys Ketamine Mix)

Nearly every mix of Flight Facilities' Crave You does the original a ton of justice and act as a sweet side dish to the main meal. And so goes the case with this new fix, courtesy of Jad and the Ladyboys. Beware: this is some nighttime dark disco that drags you deep down into that k-hole, complete with awesomley warped reverse vocals to kick off the mind-melt.
