Aeroplane - Without Lies (Black Van Remix)

Yum yum gimme some. That's the phrase I have repeatedly going through my head after each and every spin of Aeroplane's Without Lies. The smooth and sultry disco tinged track features vocals from Sky Ferreira, and is one of the standout cuts from the formerly Italian/Belgian duo's debut, We Can't Fly. And while Vito has since flown solo, never the mind, because the good tunes keep a'comin'...kind of like with this new single (due out November 15) and it's subsequently stellar package.

Said single gift comes presented with the original, radio edit, instrumental, Black Van and Breakbot remixes, and whilst the latter is still only available to hear in radio rip and/or preview form (and still remains the most salivated over and longed for), it's my distinct pleasure to dose you with the other fix that's just as fine and ever as titillating.

Black Van, show us what you're working with.

Full mix, beasts. Buck a rip.

The Magician, The Aikiu and Discodeine

Or as I like to call it, a terrifying trifecta of awesome! The Magician is Stephen Fasano, who as you might know, used to be in Aeroplane, til he bailed and went solo steez on the music scene. We're ok with it, cause he's starting to churn out mixtapes, and his first official remix is a fine fix of The Aikiu's The Red Kiss, which is the Frenchman's next single, due out in November. And you can hear it in his latest mixocological masterpiece.

The magician

Also, he uses Discodeine's Synchronize, which we told you about way back when, and features the inimitable vocals of Jarvis Cocker.

All this makes us berry beastly happy.

Bxentric - BXENTRIC Mix

This is definitely a multi-purpose post, and thanks to rad-man, Bxentric, we only need to have writ up this one piece. Why, you ask? See, I've been on a bender lately. A music bender in which nearly every other song I press play for results in his mix of Flight Facilities' Crave You blasting through my headphones. Best addiction to have. Truth.

So that led me to today's "diggings" for more from the UK mix-master, resulting in an almost hour-long mix he put together of some of the best new, official, and as of yet unheard remixes of your favorite songs.

Within the mix, he's got Russ Chimes' official hit of Mark Ronson's Bang Bang Bang (I DIE), along with DFA-dude Tim Goldsworthy's rub up of Monarchy's Love Get Out Of My Way that makes me want to cry because it is 100% perfection in every way. Other bits we love include the Villa mix of Ali Love, some Munk, Mano and Breakbot. Hell, lemme just give you the full track list, then stream the mix. Ultimately, scroll all the ways down for a special treat that kind of brings this all full circle.

1. Mano Le Tough - Eurodancer (Tensnake Remix)
2. Roy Davis Jr - Rocklights (Mighty Mouse Remix)
3. Bottin - Disco For The Devil (Telonious Remix)
4. Voltage - All Night (Azari & III Remix)
5. Diskjokke - 1987 (Dreamtrak Remix)
6. Mark Ronson - Bang Bang Bang (Russ Chimes Remix)
7. Ali Love - Smoke and Mirrors (Villa Remix)
8. Munk - La Musica (Tiago Remix)
9. Monarchy - Love Get Out Of My Way (Tim Goldsworthy Remix)
10. Breakbot - Baby I'm Yours (Aeroplane Remix)

Aeroplane and Neon Indian Remixed Au Revoir Simone's Another Likely Story for Night Light

Night Light is the full on remix album of tracks from Au Revoir Simone's latest disc, Still Night, Still Light. It's due out July 5 via Moshi Moshi, we've already listened in (and loved on) Clock Opera's fix of Tell Me Why, and hooray, 'cause we get to dole out 2 more of the finished fixes to you today.

On deck, we've got the reworked versions of Another Likely Story from Neon Indian and Aeroplane.

You may already have these in your repertoire, but hey, a little extra beastly love never hurt no one...no sir, no ma'am! Both remixes are fairly true to the original lyrical arrangement, but each outfit rubs up the jawn a little different. I can tell you which is my fave, my I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise of you hearing and deciding for yourself. What fun is that?

Pre-order Au Revoir Simone's' Night Light here.
