HEALTH - Eat Flesh (Baron von Luxxury Slow Disco Remix)

Two years ago, purveyors of Californian racket music, HEALTH very generously told Pitchfork that Glass Candy’s I Always Say Yes (Baron von Luxxury Remix), was their favorite song of the year. Our buddy BvL “Myspaced” them (as one did without shame back in 2008) to say thanks. They ended up getting together at their house in Echo Park to drink wine, listen to a collection of Beyoncé acapellas, and collaborate on an EPIC DANCEFLOOR SMASH POP HIT.
This is not that song.
But here instead IS the full length, unedited version of HEALTH's Eat Flesh (Baron von Luxxury Slow Disco Remix), which was unavailable anywhere else on the planet UNTIL RIGHT NOW!! OMG!!!
* BTW: those are Baron's wacky words. He describes it all way better than me.

Scissor Sisters - Fire With Fire (New Video and Rory Phillips Remix!)

I needed a dose disco splash lovin' this afternoon. Enter Scissor Sisters and their new single, Fire With Fire, which now has a set of oddly dark (lighting-wise) visuals to match the anthemic tune from upcoming album, Night Work.

In addition to the new clip, I'm also tossing you a chance to give an ear to the Rory Phillips remix of the song...which, in my beastly opinion, eclipses the original thanks to a set of rhythmic rubs and watery wicks and wows.

Watch the video now...then jump after to listen to the mix. Also grab the best song the Scissor Sisters never wrote...and by that I mean band-mate Del Marquis' Runaround, of the Baron Von Luxxury fixed up variety.

One, two, three...go!

Glass Candy - Feeling Without Touching (new video!)

After 14 years of creating music together, Glass Candy finally felt it fitting to release their first official music video. Say what? Yep...Ida No and Johnny Jewel have a sweet set of visuals for new tune, Feeling Without Touching, and we're both shocked it's taken this long, but pretty psyched that this now exists.

So how does the newly-evolved into Italo Disco duo make out in their first flick? Feeling Without Touching is a dynamic track in and of itself...with Ida crooning over a simplistically striking base.

Directed by Travis Peterson, the video pairs a voyeuristic look behind a veil of shower glass, while No writhes to the beat. Jewel adds his twinkling bits, and yep...there's no doubt about it. We swoon.

Watch the video now.
