Uffie (featuring Pharrell) - ADD SUV (Radio Rip)

Ed Banger babe, Uffie, is set to finally release her debut album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, on May 31 (UK) and June 8 (US). Having followed the uniquely stylish songstress since her first EP came out in 2006, this full freshman offering is long overdue. With first single, MCs Can Kiss already having made the blog-rounds, we're stoked to have something fresh to listen to.

 

 

The album, which was produced by Feadz, Mr. Oizo, Mirwais and SebastiAn, features guest appearances by Pharell and Matt Safer from The Rapture. It also includes a cover of Siouxsie and the Banshees' Hong Kong Garden.

 

ADD SUV is the second official single from the release, which features Pharrell on the guest vocal tip. I am loving this tight lil' tune and it immediately goes on my "jauntily dancing down the sidewalk" playlist. No really. I have a playlist named as such.

Breakbot (Featuring Irfane) - Baby I'm Yours (Siriusmo Remix)

The newest addition to the Ed Banger brethren is Breakbot, a shy ol' Frenchman with a penchant for hooky and happy tunes and mixes. Now, with his first official EP out on the label, he's sure to make more heads turn, especially with a pair of remixes, destined to make the backyards bounce.

On Valentine's Day, Breakbot dropped his Baby I'm Yours EP, along with a nifty mixtape that you can listen to over on Dazed Digital.

It's worthy to mention that Siriusmo's mix of the title track is well beyond better than most anything we've heard this year. Nope, it's not a banger (pun totally intended), but rather a cinematic slice of surf guitars, horn sections, drum solo breaks and the raddest tambourining.
