V Festival Announces Headliners

The headliners of this year's V Festival were be announced moments ago. The UK event takes place on two sites – one in Chelmsford and one in Staffordshire – on August 21-22, 2010. The big gets this year are Kings of Leon and Kasabian, with each taking the top draw on the main stages on their respective nights. 

  

Additional acts for the August event include:  Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, David Guetta, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Paolo Nutini, Florence And The Machine, Madness, White Lies, Skunk Anansie, Mika, Goldfrapp, The Temper Trap, La Roux, Newton Faulkner, Cheryl Cole, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Kate Nash, Imogen Heap, Paloma Faith, Pixie Lott, Scouting for Girls, Shed Seven, Amy MacDonald, Groove Armada, Chase and Status, The Charlatans, Sugababes, The Courteeners and Editors
