Biffy Clyro and Marina Diamandis - Many of Horror (live at NME Awards)

Last week, the 2010 NME Awards were held at the O2 Academy Brixton. A night of stellar musicians and entertainers were awarded the golden "middle finger", but it was a handful of performances that caught my attention. After featuring The Big Pink and Lily Allen's duet, it''s only fitting to showcase another spectacular presentation.

The pairing up of Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro and Welsh singer Marina Diamandis (aka Marina and the Diamonds) for the former's sentimental song Many of Horror has been a staple of my viewing rotation over the course of the past week. The track, from BC's 2009 album, Only Revolutions, was written by frontman Simon Neil about his wife and family.

So with Diamandis trading verses and jumping on the chorus with Neil, the live duet breathed an intense passion into the performance.

Watch the live duet now.

2010 NME Awards: Winners

Last night, the Shockwaves NME Awards 2010 took place at the O2 Academy Brixton. Many an unsurprising honor were bestowed upon some the top artists and acts in today's pop and rock music, along with social media, television and fashion.

Nmeawardswinners

Big winners were Muse and Kasabian, while Lady Gaga managed to snag both best and worst dressed. Paradoxes! Lily Allen and The Big Pink teamed up for a performance of Dominos, segueing into Carly Simon's You're So Vain, and back into the band's smash hit. Audio of their duet is below. (not the highest-qual, but you can hear everything well enough)

For a full list of winners, please see below.
