The SXSW PanelPicker is an online system that allows the community to have a significant voice in programming Interactive, Film, and Music conference activities for SXSWeek 2011 (March 11-20). But more importantly, it is that one tool in which you can help the Strangers in Stereo-curated and created panel become part of the official event. As you'll know, I'm one of the blogs within the SiS collective, and thanks to Will, V and the rest of the cool cats on board, we have the opportunity to speak at next year's conference.
Will, Veronica, Emma, Amanda, along with myself, have come together to present the panel The Rapidly Changing Face Of Music Discovery. Together, we represent blogs, social media networks and outreach, online journalism and radio, culling our respective opinions on how we are all affected by emerging technologies and strategies within our daily lives.
You can read more about the panel here, but more importantly, you can vote on getting our offering selected as an official part of the SXSW 2011 Conference. You do need to register for a free PanelPicker account, but the notes state that you will not be spammed or added to any mailing lists (so, win!), and we simply need you to click the "thumbs up" icon if you dig what we're dishing. Vote here until August 27.
After having out launch party at this year's SXSW, let's show our strength by getting Strangers in Stereo on the docket in this coming year!
