AWOLNATION (featuring Wale) - Guilty Filthy Soul (Samantha Ronson Remix)

A few of my buddies in the music PR biz have been trying to pitch me up on AWOLNATION for a while now, but to be honest, just, ick. The Santa Monica outfit verges on that party rock sound, much like a incestuously pitiful ingrate of LMFAO and Free Energy, with a splash of "yo we tryna be dubstep too" tossed on for extra, um, flavor? I'm going to forgive all past discretions however, not in part due to the band, but in whole thanks to Samantha Ronson's new remix of their track Guilty Filthy Soul. Wale also...thanks dude.

I'm gonna play this fix a lot. And then forget I ever wrote about this.

What's your take on the track?
